I emphasize the slow and gradual formation of healthy habits. The health science may be clear, but decision making and healthy habit development can be challenging. We work through this step-by-step.

What does the Healthspan PhysioCoaching process look like?

Step 1: Reach out to me!

Once you share your name and email in the “Tell Me More” box, I will send you a brief questionnaire to learn a little more about what you are looking for. Once completed and sent back to me, we schedule a conversation.

Step 2: The Virtual Meet-and-Greet

We schedule a 75-90 min conversation to learn more about each other. This is where all your questions get answered and we determine if we are a good fit. We talk about the past, present, and future you! What would a successful healthspan look and feel like to you and what might that journey entail? 

Step 3: We Matched!

It’s time to sign-up and connect. A link to secure your spot on my roster and download the Healthspan PhysioCoaching smartphone application is sent to you. (You can sync with other compatible apps and devices if you use them: MyFitnessPal, Evolution Nutrition, Apple Watch, FitBit, Withings Health Mate, Garmin)

Step 4: Intake

The app will prompt you to answer questions on a variety of topics, from days you prefer to exercise, fitness equipment available to you, current or previous injuries or medical conditions, and more. The more I know, the quicker I can create a program that fits well with you and your real-life demands.

Step 5: The Stress Free Assessment

Schedule and complete the Healthspan PhysioCoaching initial assessment. This is a judgment free experience. It’s not bootcamp. What does this include?

Physical: You’ll need your smartphone or laptop and some space to move around. This will be a video call. Basic strength, balance, and stamina will be tested. (Do you need a gym or weight set? No! See FAQ’s.)

Nutrition: Food is energy for life, and there’s always something we can improve. Two days of meal tracking will be completed within 10 days of signing-up. I’ll walk you through how to do this. (Remember, no fad diets and no judgment here. Just realistic and gradual changes as needed.)

Work / Leisure / Sleep Schedule: The intake questionnaire is reviewed together to verify the most realistic days for exercise. Too busy to exercise on Mondays? No problem, it’ll be your day off. We’ll also dive into the duration and quality of your sleep and correlate that with your nutrition, activity, and stress.

Wearables / Technology: Got data? Great. Let me know what you track! I’d love to help you navigate all those numbers and make them useful for you. 

Step 6: We’re live!

Within 24 hours of your assessment you will have your first custom exercise and habit tracker delivered to your Healthspan PhysioCoaching app! Open it up and follow the day’s workout, with video instruction for each exercise. Rate your level of exertion and leave a comment to provide more details or ask questions. (This is NOT an AI driven app or service. I’m a real person assessing and adjusting your program in real time!)

Got a question about your workout, nutrition, or habit plan? Call or message Coach Aaron directly anytime! Open the app – I’m literally in the palm of your hand.

Step 8: Schedule weekly check-in calls

For most clients, what starts off as a weekly check-in for the first several weeks tapers off to once every couple weeks. But this is 100% individualized. Want more or less contact with me? Just ask. Want me to observe you doing a few exercises to check your form? Let’s do it! Feeling overwhelmed as you shop for groceries? Call me so I can help you make choices you’ll be proud of later.
